Estonia strengthens defense against Russia with investment in US HIMARS missile launchers | Abroad

The center’s director, Magnus-Valdemar Saar, reached an agreement yesterday with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), an agency of the US Department of Defense. The HIMARS artillery systems are used in Ukraine in the war against Russia.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, Estonia, a neighbor of Russia, has increased its defense spending significantly. The other Baltic countries and Poland also followed the same trend.
