Italian fashion house Brunello Cucinelli SpA and eyewear manufacturer EssilorLuxottica announced a new ten-year licensing partnership in a joint statement on Monday. Accordingly, EssilorLuxottica will design, produce and market the eyewear collections of the Brunello Cucinelli brand.
The cooperation will start on January 1st next year and end on December 31st, 2032, the first eyewear collection will be launched in the first quarter of 2024. With the long-term licensing partnership that has now been agreed, the two companies are expanding their existing relationship. Last year, Brunello Cucinelli and the eyewear brand Oliver Peoples, which belongs to EssilorLuxottica, launched a joint capsule collection.
EssilorLuxottica is one of the world’s leading eyewear manufacturers and suppliers. The group owns brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley and Persol, and is also an eyewear license partner for numerous well-known fashion houses, including Burberry, Chanel and Prada.
