Unkuri and Harjuniemi have been dating for almost five years. In February 2022, Unkuri shared a romantic anniversary post on Instagram.
– On February 25, 2019, you asked me to be your girlfriend. It was the first time I had ever been someone’s real girlfriend. Even that word felt funny in my mouth, “girlfriend”. At the time, I didn’t know what wonderful things lay ahead of us. However, I knew that I was at my happiest with you.
– That’s why things progressed at a pretty fast pace. We moved in together a couple of months later, established a joint online store and got a joint dog a year later. Until then, I had always been the girl who gets anxious as soon as the relationship starts to get serious, but with her everything felt so right and I was ready to jump according to that feeling. Pushing myself to the limit, Unkuri wrote two years ago.
Unkuri also stated in his writing two years ago that the first relationship would also be the last.

Unkuri was crowned Miss Finland in the fall of 2021. The competition was exceptionally organized as an all-stars version, i.e. the finalists were already familiar from past years’ competitions. Unkuri had competed in the 2017 finals, when he was chosen as the audience’s favorite.
