Esprit is currently touring Europe with Highsnobiety. Berlin was the second stop of the cooperation, the evening of which was all about denim looks and creativity.
The clothing retailer announced its tour in October Collaboration with the Berlin streetwear label Highsnobiety which artists should offer a platform. After the start in the Amsterdam store, the journey continued to Germany, Esprit announced on Wednesday. Last Friday there was a celebration in the Berlin flagship on Friedrichstrasse. The Brazilian digital artist Gabriel Massan, the Berlin-based multidisciplinary designer Tabitha Swanson and the German street artist Sérgio Ben Mario gave visitors an impressive evening.
Under the motto ‘Fundom’, Esprit’s platform for a creative community, Massan and Swanson presented their specially developed filter, generated by artificial intelligence, which allowed visitors to animate ‘denim designs’ on a video wall.
Street art and denim lovers in particular got their money’s worth this evening: If you wanted to have a piece of jeans personalized, Mario was the right place. He decorated Esprit jackets and trousers with his characteristic graffiti design. A tote bag designed by the artist for the event was also available.
Four more stops are planned for the Esprit and Highsnobiety city tour.
