The agency Urbn Concepts from Cologne is bringing the Esprit brand back to stores for the FW2026 season as a licensee for the shoe sector. Urbn Concepts is responsible for product design, sales and marketing of the new shoe line.
Urbn Concepts is backed by Urban Styles Agency GmbH & Co. KG, a 100 percent subsidiary of Snipes SE, which is part of Deichmann. The Deichmann Group took over the shoe license for the insolvent Esprit brand in October 2024.
The focus of the new collection is women’s shoes. The highlights include ankle boots, riding boots and comfortable shoes in a mix of materials, the company said in a press release. The range is complemented by slippers and outdoor-inspired models. The product portfolio will be gradually expanded in the coming seasons.
Urbn Concepts has ten years of experience in building, selling and positioning international fashion brands. The agency is responsible for private labels, licenses and distribution of brands in the streetwear, lifestyle and sportswear segments, such as Buffalo Boots, Dutch and Karl Kani. In addition to Mirko Ostendörfer, who has been Managing Director of Urbn Concepts since August, Snipes CEO Dennis Schröder and Thomas Bredlow, Chief Controller of Deichmann SE, are also part of the company management.
