Investigations by a law firm confirmed fears by League of Legends team TSM that a Chinese coach siphoned off player salaries and failed to repay borrowed money.
First of all, the LoL pro SwordArt apparently asked his trainer last year to sell a car because the player wanted to go back to Asia. The Coach sold the car for $80,000.
However, SwordArt did not initially receive the proceeds from the sale. Only when he threatened to report his former eSports coach was part of the money transferred.
It was about $35,000. To date, the remaining amount of a good 45,000 US dollars has apparently not been paid.

The accused admitted to having kept the money from the car sale and promised to pay it back. However, the former coach denied having embezzled part of player salaries.
Since the serious allegations against the League of Legends coach have been confirmed, the FBI is now also investigating.
