The province of West Flanders in particular had to deal with fierce thunderstorms. The RMI had declared code orange for thunderstorms for all Flemish provinces, except Limburg. The emergency number 1722 for storm and water damage was also activated. In general, the flooding was not too bad, although it also rained cats and dogs in Laken, where our royal family received it from the Netherlands.
