Esko Kovero is one Secret lives of the most legendary actors in the series. His character Ismo Laitela has experienced a wide range of twists and turns in the series, and interpersonal drama has not been avoided either.

Kovero tells Iltalehti that he is looking forward to spring and summer.

– There was quite a lot of snow this winter and I drive between Tampere and Helsinki too, so now it’s spring in the chest when the roads are thawed. However, the condition in you could be a little better, Kovero says with a laugh.

Kovero, 64, has been acting in Salkkari for over 23 years. He wonders that Finnish law usually forces people to retire, but he is not sure if it applies to Actors.

Condition in place

Kovero states that physical fitness is in good shape. He says he is in good basic condition, which has certainly affected the situation. However, he admits that a career as an actor will not last until the end of his life.

– As you get older, there will be one more blow every year. You probably can’t do this indefinitely. As the oldest man in the world was 119, I hardly live that long, he says.

Salkkaritähti says that her close circle is used to the work and the rhythm it brings.

– This work is good compared to theaters, for example, because the weekends are always free. We have good shooting breaks, so then it’s easy to rest and recharge your batteries, Kovero in.

The actress’ family includes an open wife and two adult children. He lives with his open wife in Tampere. Kovero trained as an actor at the Theater Academy, graduating with a master’s degree in 1983.
