In Ina Mikkola’s podcast, Esko Eerikäinen talks openly about the heartbreaks she experienced.
Editor Ina Mikkolan Runkkar’s friend book on the podcast (Soup) guest radio host Esko Eerikäinen reveals his fears regarding relationships and love in the new episode. Eerikäinen has spoken on the subject before, for example Sometähti’s Single Life in the television series.
Eerikäinen admits in the podcast that he is a person who falls in love very easily. Although falling in love happens quickly, the formation of love takes longer and it is even a kind of “myth” for Eerikääne.
The radio host reveals that he doesn’t confess his deep love for other people very often. Eerikäinen says that the true feeling of love towards another person lasts so long that it feels like “a big-footed snowman who lives in the Alps”.
– This is not that I want to feel sorry, but this is my feeling about it. I want to believe and I do believe that there will be another, but somehow it feels really mythical. Sometimes it scares me if it will ever come and sometimes I have the feeling that it will never come, he continues.

In the episode, Eerikäinen also talks to Mikkola about heartbreak. Eerikäinen told Sometähti’s Single Life – program that he had really fallen in love a few years ago, but the relationship quickly ran aground. Eerikäinen describes the period in question as a “crushing” time.
– We had a very passionate and intense relationship, which progressed really quickly and ended in an ass. Yes, I still sometimes wonder where this person might be and why this happened, Eerikäinen recalls.
Eerikäinen had confessed his love to the person in question, and he had also introduced his new partner to his daughter and colleagues. In the end, the relationship ended when the person decided to return to their ex-partner. This made Eerikäinen question himself completely.
– It bothered me for a really long time, Eerikäinen concludes.
In the podcast, Eerikäinen also talks about his relationship with his ex-wife Martina Aitolehti. The ex-couple has remained on good terms and Eerikäinen calls Aitolehte his friend. According to Eerikäinen, the reason for the good relationship is their common daughter Victoria.
