Escaped thief caught by the bones by police dog Siep

Police dog Siep caught a escaped thief in a meadow in Spijkerboor last night. The man previously ignored a police stop sign. He jumped out of the car and dived straight into the canal.

According to the officers, the man made a nice flight through the tall grass, but he also left a nice trail in the meadow. “The man had to be hiding somewhere in the surrounding area. We didn’t have to tell the service dog Siep this twice. Siep headed towards the suspect in a straight line,” the officer writes.

Wet snout

“After the suspect felt our colleague’s wet snout sniffing him, he surrendered.” The man and his companion were arrested for stealing/theft. The man was driving under the influence and with a suspended driver’s license.
