17 year old offensive player
Phun Mang will complete a trial at Karlsruher SC from December 5th to 16th. This was announced by his current club Esbjerg fB. The Danish junior international, who also has Myanmar citizenship, made an appearance with the pros this season, and the 17-year-old attacking player made eleven other appearances for the U19s.
“When we were contacted by the people of Karlsruhe, we sat down with Phun Mang and his management and discussed the possibilities. We quickly agreed that it made sense for everyone involved to agree – also considering the long winter break that we have just started at both senior and youth levels,” said Esbjerg’s talent director Anders Brynaa on the decision-making process. “And for the EfB it shows once again that our talents are attractive to foreign clubs, not least because of the good daily work of the coaches, but for Phun it is also a unique opportunity to see what it takes to play in a big, to play at the highest level for a prestigious club. We look forward to following the progress.”
