Contract extended after relegation

Dmitri Nazarov will stay with FC Erzgebirge Aue even after relegation to the 3rd division. The 32-year-old striker, who has played for the “Violets” since 2016, signed a new working paper until June 30, 2023 with an option to extend it. In the past season, Nazarov was directly involved in seven goals in 31 games for Aue.

“The contract extension with Dimitrij was one of the most important points in our squad planning. Dima has a high footballing quality. He’s got heart and brains, demonstrating genuine loyalty to the club. We are very happy to be able to continue to count on him,” said FCE President Helge Leonhardt.
