See you soon in the 3rd league
Bayreuth’s successful coach Timo Rost will take over the Erzgebirge Aue team from the coming season. After the “Veilchen” were relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga and the Upper Franconian SpVgg were promoted from the Bavarian Regionalliga, the new Auer coach will also meet his old team in the 3rd division. The “Bild” newspaper reported that a fee in the mid-five-digit range was due after Rost’s contract had been extended due to promotion. The FCE did not provide any information about the new term in the Ore Mountains.
“We are very happy that we made this important personnel decision and that we now have planning security. As a former player and current coach, Timo has a wealth of experience and the ability to do good and successful work here in Aue,” explained FCE President Helge Leonhardt. Former professional Rost said: “I know Aue from my active time at Energie Cottbus. There is a great fan base here and an enormous football tradition. I am very much looking forward to working together and to the new challenge that lies ahead of me.”
#Good luck for Tim. Welcome to the shaft! #buddy club #AUE
