Erwin van Santen (46) will form the board of the Wilhelmina Hospital Assen (WZA) with effect from 1 January, together with Hans Mulder.
Van Santen still works at Tergooi MC. He will complete his work there in the coming months before he starts working at the WZA.
Chairman Eduard Klasen of the supervisory board of the WZA reacts with satisfaction. “In Erwin van Santen we see a skilled and very experienced hospital manager, who has left his mark on business operations and finances in several hospitals in recent years. In addition, as a manager, he has extensive experience with the themes that we also stand for in the WZA: redesigning healthcare, new construction and renovation and retaining colleagues for healthcare, all in financially exciting times.”
guts
Van Santen says in a press release that the WZA has shown that it has the guts. “We are already working on a number of good initiatives to organize healthcare differently: remotely, so no longer within the walls of the hospital, but also in collaboration with chain partners. It is an excellent opportunity for me to build on this, partly from my current experience within Tergooi MC.”
