Ernest Lawson started his TTK host run with a topical throw

Dancing with the Stars – program’s live broadcasts have started. This year, the 15th production season was started with renewed vigor, when Mikko Leppilampi left the show’s host and handed over the mantle to actor Ernest Lawson. Vappu Pimiä continues as usual as the host of the program.

Last year, Lawson won the Dance with the Stars competition together with a dance teacher Anniina Koivuniemi with. This year, he is exciting points in the heat together with star couples.

Lawson started the TTK presenter’s washing machine with a topical hose. The host referred to Prime Minister Sanna Marini’s party noise in his opening line.

– Here it begins! Now we dance, party, sing and do legal things, Lawson joked with a smile.

Pimi was also joking

Vappu Pimiä was also in a humorous mood during his talks. When ex-hockey player Siim Liivik came to listen to Cha Cha Cha’s score, TTK judge Jorma Uotinen asked Pimi about his feelings about Liivik’s dance. Liivik will be seen as a dance teacher this year Katri Mäkinen.

– What does Jorma say, was there pressure at the end? It was dark.

The audience was torn apart after Pimiä’s comment.

– Pressure to the end… Well, if there is no pressure, then this couple revealed a holy desire for the secrets and rhythm of the dance, Uotinen answered with a smile.

This year too, the TTK competition will see a lot of public figures. The competition includes, among others, politician Joel Harkimo, artist Benjamin Peltonen, an actor Mikko Nousiainen and radio host Alma Hätönen.
