The team sports outfitter Erima GmbH has appointed Andre Bachmann as managing director for sales and marketing. The 54-year-old took over the post on August 17, the Pfullingen-based company announced on Thursday.
In his new function, Bachmann is now responsible for the entire German market and its “strategic and future-oriented orientation”. He also manages the Erima national companies and the areas of international business and e-commerce.
Before moving to Erima, Bachmann was Managing Director of the bicycle accessories supplier Sigma-Elektro GmbH, also responsible for marketing and sales. Before that, he held various management positions at the textile company New Wave GmbH for more than twenty years.
Wolfram Mannherz, owner and managing director of Erima, explained the personnel decision: “I am very pleased that Andre Bachmann, someone with many years of experience in the team sports business, is coming on board, who will head up the entire Erima sales and marketing department with immediate effect,” explained him in a statement. “Furthermore, as an additional managing director, he will also assume responsibility for Erima as a whole.”
