Football professional Equanimeous St. Brown has received a new contract early with the Chicago Bears in the US professional league NFL.
The wide receiver, who has a German mother, has been given a new contract until the end of next season, the Illinois-based franchise announced on Wednesday.
After the previous season, St. Brown was fired by his original team, the Green Bay Packers, after four years and then found his new sporting home in Chicago.
In his first season with the Bears, the 26-year-old has caught 20 passes for 320 yards and one touchdown in 15 games.
