HANDBALL – Henrik Bergholt (58) is no longer the head coach of the E&O women’s team. The Premier League player immediately said goodbye to the Dane. E&O is scoreless last in the Premier League.
A difference in insight between the selection and Bergholt is the reason for the break. After consultation with the players’ council, the E&O technical committee entered into discussions with the head coach. All parties then came to the conclusion that it is better to terminate the collaboration immediately.
In the 2020/2021 season, Bergholt first managed the men’s team of the Emmen team. Last season he was promoted with the ladies as number five from the first division to the highest level in the country. E&O is in last place in the Premier League after ten games without a win.
E&O has found former player Jan Gerald Mulder willing to finish the season in the Premier League. Mulder also stood with the green-whites for the group from December 2021 to the spring of 2022.
