Enzo Knol and girlfriend Myron pulled over in Drenthe after driving ‘anti-socially fast’

Vlogger Enzo Knol (29) and his girlfriend Myron Knoops were stopped near Smilde after they drove more than 160 km / h in their Porsche Panamera, Knol reports on Youtube. The officer points them to the fatal accident in Jirnsum and calls Knoops’ driving behavior ‘anti-social’. Knol thinks the police action is unreasonable.

Knol, one of the most popular vloggers in the Netherlands, is stopped late at night. His girlfriend Myron is behind the wheel at the moment. Knol films and publishes the entire incident on YouTube.

The police say in the video that they had to drive more than 250 kilometers per hour to keep up with Knoops and Knol. The police have been able to measure a speed of 170 kilometers per hour (160 after correction). This is 40 kilometers too fast and ‘that is 261 euros’, said the officer about the fine. “And there is a good chance that the Public Prosecution Service will say: you have to take a course.”

The officer points the two to the accident in Jirnsum on Saturday, in which four men died. “I find it disappointing that a grown man is sitting next to it in his car, and you probably film it too,” says the officer. “I don’t know, it doesn’t tend towards a bit of responsibility. That worries me deeply.”

The police do not want to respond to the video ‘in connection with traceability to persons and in the context of privacy’, Algemeen Dagblad reports.
