Trabzonspor team, which beat Fenerbahçe 3-2 away in the 11th week of the Trendyol Super League, was welcomed with enthusiasm by the fans at the airport.
The burgundy-blue team, which came to the city after the match, was welcomed at Trabzon Airport by many fans, accompanied by torches and marches.
Trabzonspor Club Vice President Zeyyat Kafkas, who accompanied the players, told the journalists that it was a good match for them and said:
“3 points are good, winning is good, but it was a shameful night for Turkish football. That’s why I can say that we are experiencing bittersweet joy. Our President said everything necessary, there is no need to say anything about it, the whole of Turkey watched it anyway. It was truly a shameful night. So “It doesn’t matter if it was done to us or to someone else, it was a night that did not suit football.”
The football players left the airport by boarding the team bus, accompanied by the cheers of the fans.
