Written and created for the 50th anniversary of the Roman comedian, the show has been staged in theaters throughout Italy over the last few years. Brignano started from a very simple question: “What I became was the conscious fruit of the choices madea sign of destiny or a stroke of luck?”

The new show on tour in Europe
Now a fixed presence of Italian theatres, Enrico Brignano has been wandering around Italy since last summer with But…let’s be on first name terms!. Written with Manuela D’Angelo, and the collaboration on the lyrics by Alessio Parenti, the show will stop in theaters in major European cities including Paris, Barcelona and the historic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London in April 2024. The show, not only comical, tells the story of the dangers of the world in an intimate and light-hearted way: from technology (useful but treacherous) to various economic, ecological and health crises.
