A large load of glass Coke bottles fell from a truck on Tuesday morning at the Tilburg-Noord exit of the A65 in Berkel-Enschot. This happened when the truck drove around the bend. The road is littered with crates and bottles. The exit from the A65 and the connecting road from the A58 to the A65 are closed.
The truck was said to be on its way to the Coca-Cola factory in Dongen. But things went wrong in the bend of the Tilburg-Noord exit. When the driver turned onto Burgemeester Bechtweg (N261), the crates containing tens of thousands of coke bottles fell out of the car.
The road is littered with soft drink bottles, broken glass and crates. Rijkswaterstaat is present and a company comes to clean up the damage. The driver is unharmed. He would have been very shocked and would have immediately started cleaning up the crates.
