National football player Enes Ünal, who plays for Spain’s Getafe team and was away from football for more than 7 months after suffering an injury to his right knee cruciate ligaments, talked about his return to the field.
Getafe Club published a video on its website consisting of interviews with the football player’s mother, father, wife, daughter, father-in-law and fans, in addition to Enes Ünal.
“I was alone for a long time and worked very hard. Finally, I am with my teammates and I am very happy about that.” Enes said, “In the beginning, I was walking with crutches. As I overcame this physically, I made progress, first as a human, and then as an athlete. Finally, I feel like a football player again.” he said.
Stating that he received great support from his family both in Turkey and in Madrid, where his teammates and fans were always with him in Getafe, the 26-year-old striker said, “It was difficult for my family, especially my wife. I am a bit of an outspoken person. My wife was also a football player for a while.” “And since he had a similar injury, he understood me better. Sometimes we had great days, sometimes it was difficult.” He made a statement.
Stating that he spent the last 3 seasons in intense tempo as a football player and that he had a lot of time to spare for himself when he was injured, Enes continued his words as follows:

You forget that there are more important things in life. I always wanted to be a good father. Due to my injury, of course, I took advantage of the free time and spent more time with my family. “
