This energy company Headquartered in Barcelona and operating in Spain, Italy, Brazil and Chile, it will debut at BME Growth, the market for SMEs, this Friday March 4. It will do so with the ENRS code and with its shares at 5.46 euros as the starting price, which places the company’s market valuation at 204 million euros. To finish executing the jump, the company announced about a month ago that it was launching a capital increase with which it hoped to raise 40 million euros. Enerside officially closes the operation this Wednesday, with which it has finally obtained 35 million, with a section of 1 million put up for public offering.

Specifically, at the time of going public the company has a free float (the part that will be traded on the markets) of 25% and with more than 1,200 shareholders including institutional investors, ‘family offices’, private banking and ‘retail’.

The company will also be the first SME to go public this year, although the BME Growth has already approved that the Catalan biotech company Vytrus make the leap in the coming weeks.

independent power producer

“The IPO of the company in BME Growth is a very important milestone since it allows us to finance our strong growth plans and provide the company with greater solvency, transparency and recognition”, says the CEO of Enerside, Jotham Grange. “The business plan has, among others, the goal of being an independent energy producer with 1GW of installed photovoltaic solar energy capacity in 2025,” he adds.

Enerside designs, builds and maintains photovoltaic installations usually for other companies, although part of its future plan is precisely to start operating its own parks. Its forecasts also include closing 2022 with a turnover of 40 million euros.
