Energy supplier Octa+ has been charging owners of solar panels extra costs since the beginning of this year. In some cases, it even goes up to more than 200 euros extra per year. This was discovered by the research editors of Het Laatste Nieuws and VTM Nieuws. Customers are notified, but are given no other choice. If you refuse, you just have to find another supplier. According to the federal ombudsman, this concerns “misleading information”. The Economic Inspectorate is investigating the matter.
