Energy-efficient Winter Glow starts

For the fourth time in a row, Bruges will be illuminated extra during the dark days. With the ‘Winter Glow’ project, the city is taking an experience walk in the city. This year’s light experience is all about ‘Awaking’. The walk takes you past eight light installations throughout the city.

But while many cities and municipalities turn off their lights to save money, Bruges is bathed in light during the end-of-year period. The energy crisis suddenly seems very far away.

Winterglow is open daily from 5 p.m. to midnight and will run until January 9.
