Energy cooperative Ruinen’s first solar roof is a fact, ‘there are still many roofs available’

The first result of five years of work on the new energy cooperative Ruinen is a fact: Saturday the first solar roof was festively put into use at the Schapenstreek. Chairman Walt Sep of the cooperative spoke of a small start, but he and his companions were very happy with these 160 solar panels.

With the unveiling of four inverters, which can be seen on the wall in the background, the first solar roof of the Energy Cooperative Ruinen officially became a fact. Photo: Artizzl Media / Peter Nefkens
