End-of-year party for the underprivileged in the KULAK

The guests can enjoy a festive meal for a symbolic price, but above all a lot of warmth, love and a pleasant being together in the transition to the new year. The party will take place in the buildings of KU Leuven Kulak, in student restaurant Alma.

It is not the first time that this end-of-year party has taken place. The first organization took place in 1979. In the past 2 years it could not continue due to corona, but packages were delivered to the door. Now a party can be organized again. The more than 200 guests are picked up at home by volunteer drivers.

Preparations for the New Year’s Eve party have already started in September. And tonight is the final piece, a party with DJ, dance, countdown to midnight and lots of confetti.
