Martin Hinteregger wants to end his career with Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt. “The transfer rumors are nonsense. I’m not switching to Hertha Berlin either, as rumored,” said the central defender on Saturday of the Austrian “Kronen-Zeitung” on the sidelines of his Hinti Cup in Sirnitz. “I will definitely end my professional career at Eintracht Frankfurt!”
His contract with the Hessian Bundesliga team runs until June 30, 2024. And after that? “I would only storm Sirnitz in the lower league for my SGA,” said the defender, who had started playing football in Sirnitz. In the coming week there will be talks with Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche.
