In the Swedish main series, the Stockholm Derby got out of hand with dire consequences. After 90 minutes, AIK and Hammarby ended the game in a 2–2 draw in front of a crowd of 45,000.
After the match, a mass fight started in the stands of Friends Arena in the Hammarby fan end. Fireworks were set off on both sides of the stand. At least two supporters were reported to have been hit by a chair.

– This is very sad for Swedish football. This is in no way acceptable and we will investigate together with the police what happened, AIK’s club manager Manuel Lindberg said for Aftonbladet.
In the group fight, there is still uncertainty about how it all started. Both parties are suspected of being guilty of unpleasant events. The police will come to support the incident as it was captured by security cameras.
– We already know of 20 people who have been banned from loitering, AIK’s security manager Henrik Koch said to Swedish media.
The AIK striker who scored in the match John Guidetti was disappointed with the behavior of the fans after the game.
– There are many families and children here. My own children are also involved. This is not what I would like them to see, Guidetti complained on Sweden’s Discovery+ broadcast.
After the match Aftonbladet reported that ultrafan groups of both teams would have been on their way to the agreed meeting place, but were interrupted by the police.
– It would have been resolved there. One group traveled by train, others came by car and they were going to fight there, Ola Österling Stockholm police said.
