Since Valentine’s Day, Gordon has been shouting his love happiness with Gavin from the rooftops. The two even had wedding plans, but after a trip to Australia things go completely wrong. ‘Only tears’, with that text, the 54-year-old entertainer announced the break to the world. It was another painful love story in Gordon’s life.
Gordon gives an update on Instagram on Sunday morning. “After all the euphoria of the past few months, just show how emotionally and mentally broken looks,” he writes with a photo on the plane. ‘On my way to my family and friends for their support and making sure I see that light again. Not having any contact day in and day out after 4 months is like someone dying.’
Gordon is still completely broken. Why people do this is a mystery to me. Probably out of shame or self-protection or protection of the other person. Do I still want to know? The fact is that I have to move on. I’m not going to do TV appearances to explain my private life if it’s all so unclear to me.’
Gordon does not clarify what exactly happened between the two. His sister Marja said earlier that she discovered that Gavin had a relationship with a much older man in the past. She then decided to warn her brother. Gordon is too good for people. As a family, we’ve said a hundred thousand times that he shouldn’t open his wallet for everyone.”
Gordon hopes to regain his strength in the Netherlands. “I hope everyone will give me the time to recover. Love conquers all, especially love for yourself.’ He closes with: ‘Carpe Diem.’
