Ukraine won 3-1 (1-0) in Glasgow. On Sunday (June 5th, 2022, 6 p.m.) the Ukrainian team will play Wales in Cardiff for one of the last places at the World Cup. The winner of the match will play in Group B against England, Iran and the USA.
The Ukrainian players celebrated the goals with their fans. Games in the playoff tournament were supposed to have taken place in March, but were postponed because of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Russia had been excluded from one of the other two playoff tournaments by FIFA.
