Fazıl Say, who shared a photo frame taken with his father in Ankara in 1998, thanked his friends who stood by him during this difficult process.
Ahmet Say, father of famous pianist Fazıl Say, passed away at the age of 86 in the hospital where he was treated last Tuesday. Fazıl Say played ‘My Father Ahmet Say’, which he composed for his father, for the first time at the commemoration ceremony. Ahmet Say was sent off on the last journey accompanied by prayers with the funeral prayer performed in Ankara Kocatepe Mosque.
Fazıl Say, who was devastated by the death of his father, shared an emotional post on his social media account days later. The famous pianist, who lost his father a week ago, thanked everyone who was with him during this difficult process and shared his pain.
