Then took out his necklace and kissed, to declare that this victory was for his brother Pierrick who died tragically ten years ago. “He went for a run and never came back. When I found him and saw the blood running from his ear and head, I knew he was dead,” said the Canadian after the sixteenth stage, overcome with emotion.
