Emmy Ackermans has won the Regional Song Contest with the song ‘t Letste Rundje. This means that victory goes to Limburg.
Ackermans received 112 points from the professional jury. An additional 65 points were awarded by the public jury. Three regions shared second place. Leon Moorman on behalf of Overijssel, Wat Aans! on behalf of Groningen and Sam, Merijn and Roy on behalf of Brabant all received 172 points.
Our own Lisa Harms finished eighth. She received 63 points from the professional jury. The public jury awarded 33 points to her song.
The Regional Song Contest is being organized for the first time this year. The festival is an initiative of the thirteen regional broadcasters of the Netherlands. With this we celebrate the wealth of (regional) languages and dialects in the Netherlands. The artists sing exclusively in Dutch or in the language of their own region.
