Starred in the soap Emmerdale Sam Gannon is dead, reports BBC. Gannon was 31 years old when he died.
Gannon’s family tells the BBC that the actor died suddenly while on a trip to the United States to visit relatives. Now the family is raising funds to move the body home to England. By Monday morning, almost 9 thousand pounds worth of donations have come in.
Gannon’s mother Angela says she last spoke with her son last Monday.
– You wouldn’t expect this to happen, especially to a 31-year-old young man enjoying his life, Angela Gannon tells the BBC.
Sam Gannon’s cause of death is still unknown. According to the mother, Gannon had a congenital heart defect that had been showing symptoms for the past few months.
Gannon will also be missed by his wife Zoe Haki.
Sam Gannon played Kev in Emmerdale in 2019. He is also known for Tales of Bacon and the film Babes with Blades.
