Emma Plasschaert conquers silver in Almere

Plasschaert did not get further than eighth place in the final medal race for double points. She closes the competition with 71 points. That is three more than the Greek Vasileia Karachaliou. He finished tenth and last on Saturday, but still retained first place. The bronze goes to the Danish Anna Munch, second in the medal race, with 75 points.

In the 49er, Yannick Lefèbvre and Tom Pelsmaekers from Ostend ended in third place in the medal race. They finish sixth with 82 points. The win goes to the Dutch Bart Lambriex and Floris van de Werken (35 points).

Isaura Maenhaut and Anouk Geurts from Ghent also took silver. They won their medal race in the 49er FX. With 55 points, they are two points behind the Dutch Odile van Aanholt and Annette Duetz. Australians Olivia Price and Evie Haseldine (60 points) complete the podium.
