Telecinco broadcast this Sunday the last installment of the program
‘Live life’ He said goodbye to viewers this Sunday forever after five years on the air on weekend afternoons. Accompanied by the collaborators and the writing team of the program, Emma García could not help but be moved when closing a stage that she began in 2018, when she replaced Toñi Moreno at the head of the space: “I took on a challenge with great enthusiasm, great humility and a great desire to learn”.
Looking at the camera, the presenter gave a farewell speech: “Every time you go to a program you have to contribute something of yourself, in this case I wanted to show my most vulnerable and least controlling part”. “It’s not easy being who I am, but I have to say that it’s been easy thanks to you, dear team. I’ve felt very supported from minute one,” she assured.
With glassy eyes, the Basque was very grateful to all her colleagues: “I have been surrounded by your professional work and by your complicit looks. You have been with me in one of the most difficult moments of my life and for me it has been super important to feel you“.
I know we will meet again this television Ferris wheel that is our job. We are very lucky to have made it this far, folks. I love you very much,” Garcia concluded.
At that moment, one of the editors took the microphone to dedicate some affectionate words to the communicator on behalf of the entire team: “It has been very easy to work by your side. We have felt how you have worried about us, especially these last few weeks”.
Right after they gave way to a video recorded that same morning, with Emma García entering the newsroom to applause while Coldplay’s ‘Viva la vida’ was playing. The final touch was put by a choir that interpreted that same song while the collaborators burst into tears. “Thank you and forever”the presenter finished.
