Eminem released his second greatest hits collection, CURTAIN CALL 2, on August 5th. The album is available in both digital standard and regular vinyl versions as well as exclusive vinyl and MC editions.
As a taste of the new work, Eminem released the single “From the D 2 the LBC” with rapper Snoop Dogg in June. In parallel with the theatrical release of the Elvis biopic, directed by Baz Luhrmann, he also released the song “The King and I”, which he co-produced with CeeLo Green. Rap legend 50 Cent is also part of the collaboration. He co-developed the single “Is This Love?” with Eminem.
Eminem’s first collectible collection, titled CURTAIN CALL: THE HITS, was released back in 2005. In March 2021, the album broke a new record on the US charts. It’s the first hip-hop album to stay in the top 200 on Billboard’s albums chart for ten years.
The rapper had his big break with THE SLIM SHADY from 1999. Since then he has been one of the most successful rappers in the world with over 352 million records sold. In 2002 he was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the “Fastest Selling Rap Artist”.
