With his surprising statements about the questionable Qatar, Gordon turns out to be a kind of figurehead of the politically incorrect Netherlands. In his talk show quarrel with philosopher Fleur Jongepier, the presenter of (poorly viewed) programs on SBS 6 receives support from serial border straggler Emile Ratelband.

Weak soul

According to Emile, it is laughable that Fleur ran away from Op1 when Gordon made his statements. “Gordon is very right and if that beppie runs away because of this, don’t you know why she left that university with her weak soul?” he says in a tweet.

According to him, it would not be appropriate for Gordon to reprimand Qatar. “After all, your penthouse in Dubai was also built by Pakistanis, Indians and other people of color,” he says. “Gordon, you’re just right.”

Harry critical

Harry Vermeegen also gives his opinion. The opinion maker is not a fan of Gordon, but finds Fleur’s runaway action uncivilized. “Fleur is from the deugies or wokies department or whatever we call them. From the ‘very good’ department. He then suddenly said: ‘I’m leaving!’ So that’s how we’re going to get it in the future with our rascals.” he says.

He continues: “So if you do not fully agree with what is being said, then it will be very simple in the future and we should prepare for that, because we have now seen that at Op1: then we just leave! Oh, I don’t like what I hear, you’re lucky! I’m leaving, I’m gone! That’s how it goes with the rascals! I think that is going too far and rather rude.”

“So sour!”

According to Harry, it is incomprehensible that Gordon gets a podium from Op1 at all. “Op1 invites Gordon for some silly program about cooking klutz on SBS 6! Another flop we will see again. And then our Gordon can advertise that at Op1. That is already sad and sad enough.”

Gordon himself has little compassion for Fleur, who sat down to talk about a serious problem, namely transgressive behavior in the workplace. He says in Jaïr Ferwerda’s Beau section: “I think it was more of a personal problem for her, because she was already looking so sour the entire broadcast.”

Much acclaim

Fleur can also count on a lot of support. She still stands by her action: “Painful, but on the other hand it might just be about time that shocking nonsense was not served with a calm reply, but with the unwillingness to participate in it any further.”

Volkskrant columnist Asha ten Broeke agrees: “Exactly. I thought it was a wise decision. ? (Especially given the circumstances. You’re never obliged to reply to a faggot like Gordon, but certainly not at such a moment. ?)

And Parool columnist Nico Dijkshoorn: “Fleur Jongepier did a superior job. Get up and say: I’m leaving. Brilliant.”
