Emil Ruusuvuori advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Ranked 42nd in the world, Ruusuvuori defeated in the second round match Ugo Humburtun in three sets by 6–2, 6–7 (4–8), 6–4.
The 24-year-old Finn will face the winner of the match in the next round Jannik Sinner–Alexander Bublik. The Italian Sinner is ninth in the world ranking.
Ruusuvuori also participates in the doubles in the tournament. He plays his American counterpart Brandon Nakashima with their quarter-final match later this afternoon. The Australians are opposing Alex De Minaur and Jordan Thompson.
