Emergency shelter for Ukrainians in Ypres closes its doors

In the spring of 2022, the old Capuchin monastery in Ypres was set up as an emergency shelter. 200 refugees from Ukraine were temporarily accommodated. 150 of them have now found a home in the city or its sub-municipalities. The others have moved elsewhere or returned to Ukraine. When the last refugees move, the shelter closes. That should normally happen at the end of this month or the beginning of next month.
