Emergency services gathered en masse for a fight in the summer bar of the Hippodrome in Waregem
At 1:30 am, the emergency center received a shocking phone call. They were called up for a fight in the summer bar of the Waregem hippodrome, where, according to the caller, someone had been thrown down the stairs during a fight with 50 people. According to the call, nine people are said to have lost consciousness. The emergency services arrived en masse: a mosquito was even called out.
Once on site, it turned out not to be too bad: only a few young people were fighting. Emergency services delivered first aid to the scene, but no one was said to have lost consciousness. In the end, no one had to be taken to hospital.
Only one person was briefly handcuffed because he prevented emergency services from doing their job.
