The German water polo players have reached the next round at the European Championships in Croatia. The team won 14:8 against Israel and took second place in the preliminary round behind Olympic champions Serbia.
The team of national coach Milos Sekulic will now fight for a place in the quarter-finals in the crossover game against Montenegro on Wednesday (8.15 p.m.) as third in Group A. The European Championships are also about Olympic places.
