The surprise release came after his show at Glastonbury Festival.
Elton John on Sunday (June 25) announced DIAMONDS (PYRAMID EDITION): a limited collector’s edition of his greatest hits on vinyl. Just one day later, all copies are sold out.
The vinyl edition includes ten tracks such as “Rocket Man”, “Tiny Dancer” and “Your Song”. The 76-year-old Brit performed on the Pyramid Stage at Britain’s Glastonbury Festival that same weekend. He ended the five-day event headlining with a historic performance billed as his last in the UK. The vinyl edition was subsequently released to celebrate this show on the eponymous stage.
