British pop star Elton John felt gratitude on his 75th birthday on Friday.
“I feel incredibly fortunate that at 75 I still love what I do so much – I am so energetic when it comes to music and excited to be able to play, listen and talk about it every day,” he said native Englishman of the British news agency PA on the occasion of his milestone birthday.
Touring and playing live again after the pandemic is as exciting as it was 50 years ago, Elton John continued. He now wants to give something back to the younger generation of musicians and the music industry as a whole, from which he has benefited so much, he promised.
Elton John is currently on his farewell tour “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” in the USA. Several performances in Germany are also planned for the summer.
