Elsewhere “Moody times require gentleness – and that in the broadest sense”

With your clothes you send a message. Nobody knows that better than Elsewhere. Everything is done here to “emphasize the positive and promote uniqueness” – that’s exactly what this women’s label from the Netherlands stands for. According to designer Anne Habers, the FW22/23 collection, which has been extended to size 3XL, is all about softness. “Uncertain times call for harmony. The ultra-soft qualities and warm tones of this collection – Wine Red, Beautiful Black, Blue Berry and Martini Gray – symbolize this feeling of security.”

Ultimate comfort

This winter, everything at Elsewhere is all about optimal wearing comfort: comfortable fits, soft materials and beautiful knitwear. Anne: “But we do all of that in our own style. The typical Elsewhere woman is unique and outspoken. She is always herself and loves elegant and sophisticated clothes with that certain something. For example, the jacquard collection with a border pattern in the color combination dark grey/martini gray and vice versa. Due to the brushed quality, the fabric feels particularly soft and comfortable. This program includes an eye-catching wide-leg and narrow-leg culotte, very feminine and whimsical at the same time!”

Typical Elsewhere

The line made of viscose/cotton with a checked pattern in black and light gray is very popular with Elsewhere women. This lightweight, breathable fabric drapes beautifully, wears beautifully and holds its quality shape. Anne “This really is Elsewhere. The Elsewhere woman can feel great in it.” The same goes for the poplin/stretch quality. “This is a base fabric that was used this time to tailor a pair of ‘funky’ trousers with a detachable skirt, a waistcoat and an asymmetric blazer, among other things.”

Sustainable wood pulp

Jersey quality is also extremely popular. The designs in this collection are available in four colors and can be excellently combined with the other qualities. “What’s new is that this time we’ve opted for a viscose made from sustainable wood pulp,” says Anne. “It’s a natural, breathable material that drapes gracefully and feels wonderful against the skin. Sustainability is high on our priority list and in every collection we strive to go one step further.”

Handmade knitwear

The fact that Elsewhere is also socially committed is demonstrated by the cooperation with women craftsmen from developing countries. “Almost all of our knitted and crocheted items are made by these women. Whether macrame techniques or complex and openwork patterns: you master almost all techniques. It’s really amazing what they can do with their hands. The fact that they can also support their families with this work makes each piece even more unique.”

accessories

The countless accessories with which the looks can be styled down to the last detail are also striking. They can also be admired in the shop windows: decorative leather belts, knitted gloves, eye-catching scarves and turtlenecks in various great qualities, a knitted necklace, a colorful knitted collar and – especially – a knitted multifunctional piece that can be worn as a poncho, turtleneck, scarf and cardigan can be!

eye catcher

The FW22/23 collection includes many other attractive designs and qualities. Finally, a real eye-catcher is the padded winter coat, which combines all the colors of the collection. And that is exactly what distinguishes the Elsewhere brand: Everything can be combined, so that you can add your own personal touch to every outfit.

The FW22/23 collection will be delivered in July and August. Interested? Please contact Peggy Verwoerd at [email protected].
