Twitter’s board isn’t doing what’s best for the social media company’s shareholders. Multi-billionaire Elon Musk said this in response to a tweet from someone pointing to the small number of shares of Twitter that board members own. After Musk’s takeover bid, the board has set up a protective construction or ‘poison pill’ that can prevent Twitter from being taken over unsolicited.
