The EU’s stricter regulations have driven Musk to think about abandoning the European market in relation to X.
Message service X, or the former Twitter, may no longer be available in Europe in the future. X owner Elon Musk is considering limiting the service in Europe. The reason for this is the EU’s new stricter digital market and digital service regulation.

News agency Reuters tells Insider’s citing information that the billionaire has even discussed blocking the service from European users.
The latest EU regulation obliges, among other things, large internet companies to moderate harmful content from platforms. The X service, which was taken over by Elon Musk, has been criticized for spreading disinformation and harmful content.
On Wednesday, it was reported that X plans to test an annual fee of just under a dollar in New Zealand and the Philippines. New paid customers can post content, reply to posts, like, quote others’ posts and save posts to their bookmarks.
Those who refuse to pay can view and read publications and follow other people’s accounts.
The purpose of the new order model is to reduce the number of bots and spammers in the service.
