After working for the VVD for years, Elodie Verweij started working as political chief of the right-wing broadcaster WNL in 2016. This was followed by another year at EenVandaag, but she has now been active for the late talk shows of RTL 4 for more than four years. Since she started putting herself forward as a guest in those same talk shows, she has also been a celebrity.

However, Elodie calls it a day. She’s going off the payroll. “Great news: I have a new job! I’m going to AD and become the new political reporter! It is a newspaper that suits me well in terms of profile and I am very much looking forward to creating my own news stories,” she writes. Instagram.
She continues: “I have had a great time at RTL in recent years. I have been able to develop enormously and have been given many opportunities, and I am extremely grateful to the channel for that. And fortunately the media world is small. As a political reporter for the AD, I continue to regularly join RTL. On to new adventures! Fancy!”
Caroline enthusiastically
Caroline van der Plas is very enthusiastic about this one move. The BBB foreman likes the fact that there will be someone at the AD who she trusts. “Congratulations, Elodie, on your job as a political reporter at AD. It’s nice that there is now someone who has never betrayed my trust,” she writes X.
